THE ADOBO BOOK DOES IT AGAIN... IN JAPAN, HAWAII and PARIS!

It  is  perhaps  one  of  the  most  traveled  Pinoy  cookbooks in town. In Paris, Oliver Bernardo got hold of a copy and he cooked one of the dishes with his students in English language.

While on vacation in Manila, events organizer Bill Maliglig took home a copy so he could cook with friends back in Hawaii.

The best news yet came from Tokyo, Japan. My friend Grace Murphy has a daughter, Kikay Ventura who is taking up Japanese Language Studies and she brought back with her The Adobo Book. The same book is what her friend Kari used in introducing the dish to some Japanese foodies.  Her email: "Would just like to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the copies of The Adobo Book you gave me and my friend Karl. Have attached some pictures of the cooking demo we had yesterday where we tried to introduce some Japanese ladies to the joys of cooking adobo. The outcome of the demo was great. The ladies were excited over the fact that it was quick and easy to prepare, and a lot of them said that they would definitely try to make it at home. Best wishes and kind regards!!! Kikay".
